| Sylvester H. Snowman is buried in the Silver Lake Cemetery in Bucksport, Maine. Bucksport Vital Records indicate he was born "16 Mar 1813 Penobscot", although no record of his birth has been found in the Penobscot Vital Records (and his birth date is given as "1812" on his gravestone). It seems likely that he is descended from the line of Snowman descendants of Christian Snowman that settled in Penobscot, but no proof of this can be found.
