Justus Eames (1627 - 1706) immigrated to the United States from Fordington, Dorset, England, and had (at least) 3 descendants that settled in the Bucksport, Maine area:
Lewis Mcdonald Ames (1856 - 1935) was buried in the Front Ridge Cemetery in Orland, Maine.
Lyford Earl Ames (1899 - 1980) was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Orland, Maine.
William Berbley Ames (1856 - 1897) is mentioned on a gravestone in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Orland, Maine, although he is buried in Stockton Springs, Maine.

There are many descendants of the Coombs family in the Bucksport/Orland Maine area, descended from Pierre Commeaux. Pierre was born in Port Royal, Honfleur, Normandy, France, and immigrated to what is now Port Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada. His son Antoine Commeaux, immigrated from Nova Scotia to Wells, Maine in 1684, and anglicized his name to "Anthony Coombs", and his descendants assumed the "Coombs" spelling. This report includes selected branches of the Coombs family that settled in the Bucksport/Orland Maine area.
